Most of the book are first-person accounts of various pilots most memorable nations. It also discusses the reconnaissance missions of the S4 and S5 versions and their importance to the war effort. It also is divided into sections about each theater of Worl|About the Author|The P-38 National Association is a non-profit veterans organization, established in 1987 to preserve the memory of the greatest combat airplane of WWII, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning.
